Everything you need to know about applying for the Gorilla Tag Montage Badge

Requirements & Eligibility

To qualify for the Montage Badge, you must meet ALL of the following criteria:

YouTube

1,000+ subscribers with active Gorilla Tag montage content

Regular uploads (at least 1 montage per month)

High-quality editing and production

TikTok

5,000+ followers with Gorilla Tag content

Consistent posting schedule

Good engagement and view counts

Steam/PCVR

Must own Gorilla Tag on Steam

PCVR version only (Quest standalone not supported)

Active player with regular gameplay

Content Quality

High-quality montage videos

Smooth editing and transitions

Good audio and video clarity

Application Process

Submit Application

Fill out the form with your Discord username, social media links, and montage examples. Make sure all information is accurate.

Initial Review (1-3 days)

We verify your follower counts and check your social media profiles. We also watch your submitted montage videos.

Quality Assessment (3-7 days)

Our team evaluates the editing quality, creativity, pacing, and overall production value of your montages.

Decision & Contact (7-14 days)

If approved, we'll contact you on Discord with setup instructions. If denied, we'll explain why and when you can reapply.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this badge official?

No. This is a fan-made community project. We are NOT affiliated with Gorilla Tag or its developers. This badge is awarded by community members.

What if I'm on Quest standalone?

The Montage Badge is only available on the Steam/PCVR version. Quest standalone does not support custom badges.

How long does the badge last?

The badge is permanent unless you violate the community guidelines or stop creating content for an extended period.

Can I appeal if denied?

Yes, you can re-apply after 30 days. We recommend improving your content quality or growing your channel before reapplying.
